Went to Charlotte today
Just got back from the Food Lion Auto Fair. I got a nice sunburn and all the parts I needed for my truck, minus the split rear window I was looking for. It was real nice. Of course it was the first time I've been so I can't compare it to anything. I could have used another day there but of course I would have needed more money. Gotta hand it to my lovely bride of 21 years, she stuck with me most of the day (makes up for the years of "Day after Thanksgiving" sales). Being a Friday, the crowds/traffic weren't bad at all. Next one I go to I'll take my wagon. Anyone else up there today? Was Tim Christian there? I couldn't find him and had to get my stuff elsewhere I only wish there was some sort of map of where the vendors are and and maybe catagorize them by vehicle type maybe. All in all though we had a great time and there were a lot of nice vehicles there.Cnut

Re: Went to Charlotte today
I scanned the car show from the stands when I arrived. With as many times as I've been to the show, a lot of the same rides show up every year. Nothing wrong with that at all, but it doesn't bother me at all to skip the show part. I've actually skipped the show part a few times. There's just something about hunting for parts, whether I need something or not.
One show I will not skip though is Goodguys. I love checking out all of the 20s-40s rides that show up in that show, and all of the other vehicles the show draws.

Re: Went to Charlotte today
I was there as a vendor all weekend, left at 2:30 this afternoon. Had the whole gambit of weather as Thursday it rained as was cool, Friday the Strong wind, and Today, beautiful and 75. I thought today was one of the Best days I have ever seen in April down there in 10 years of going.
