Trailer Brake Controller, which is best?
I need to wire my 70 4x4 with Electric brake controls. Which is best for the money and how hard to wire up? Thanks
Ron

Re: Trailer Brake Controller, which is best?
I'm using a Prodigy made by Tekosha. I've used others but this is absolutely the best on the market. It can be adjusted to apply whatever braking pressure you want and you can select what pre load you want. Its really easy to wire and the instructions are simple. It will give you smooth firm braking without any nightmares. Check out the Tenkonsha web site and look it over. Shop around the net for prices and you can get it pretty cheap.

Re: Trailer Brake Controller, which is best?
I have been using an older model Tekosha brake controller in my '92 GMC since I installed it just after I bought the truck in '92.
I have pulled two 5th wheel travel trailers and the controller works great. It was very easy to hook up. I also installed one in my father-in-laws F*rd and it was also an easy install. Danny

I have the Tekonsha Voyager in my 94 since new and have never had any issues with it had they made the prodigy back then I prolly would have bought it.
