700R4 Thanks

I just wanted to give out a thanks to arveetek and everyone else who came up with suggestions for my 700R4 and the early shifts.

I purchased the govenor for a gas engine last night and a new gasket for the TV cable since the old one was busted. Rigged up a new bracket for the TV cable up by the carb, adjusted the TV cable, installed the new govenor, and took it for a drive.

Shifts much nicer now. You can still feel lockup but this doesn't come in until 40 now. Much better then the 25-30 that it was coming in before. 1-2 and 2-3 shift points are much nicer as well.

Just don't floor it off the line. At WOT the 1-2 shift point is a little high now. But that's alright. Didn't buy the truck for WOT launches. At least not until I get my big block in there some day. *grin*

Thanks again!
