Question Is this Factory?

I dig this truck. I like that it has only the lower molding. Is this factory with just the lower molding?

Yup, it came in the CST or cheyeanne packages...the upper trim was never a part of any package.
My old blue longhornhad that on there and no other trim.

I've seen a couple of GMC's with just the upper. The owners said it was original.

Hey Oldskool!

That pic was taken @ the Brothers Truck Show, wasn't it? I saw that truck too. There were alot of nice trucks there. It's nice to be able to go to a show that showcases these trucks only. your truck is sweet too! What size rims and tires are you running? I'm trying to figure out a setup for my truck, but the spacing issues with these trucks makes it tough to find the right combo. Yours look just right.

I have a 3/4 71 Cheyenne with just lower molding. The upper is just an option. ive had trucks with both upper and lower, and just with upper tho it looked rather odd. Everything is just an option. As for adding it to your truck, bring $$$ it all depends where you buy it. Ya just have to shop around.

Yeah that truck is from the show. They had some nice rides out there. Not sure the exact size of the rims they are 15's not sure if they are 8's or larger. And they are running on 295/50 tires. Ok for now but looking at going to 17's later like the other truck pic posted...

My truck has the upper and lower trim....although, after paint, I was thinking of putting just the upper trim back on. Phillip said it looks odd....does anyone have pics of this? Thanks

cheyenne super

That truck looks to be labeled cheyenne super. Does anyone have a true cheyenne super without opper mouldings? I know upper is an option but.... Show me!!

I think all supers had both upper and lower.
