My first truck ever....a 72!
So here's some pics of my old 72 I bought couple of weeks ago. I never owned a truck until now. She needs a little work but I'm just planning on making a cruiser out of her.

Re: My first truck ever....a 72!
It sounds to me like you aren't planning a lot of hauling in this truck......if that's true AND you decide to part with the rear step bumper, I could be a buyer!
Once you become a premium member that is. Last edited by In The Ten Ring; 05-15-2016 at 12:09 PM. |

Maybe he wants to go for those rebated bumpers or whatever those are called and doesn't think a step bumper fits into the "cruiser" look. |

Re: My first truck ever....a 72!
It's like a subscription to the web site allowing you to buy and sell parts and there's a few other perks as well. Very worthwhile and affordable and certainly a must if you plan on doin and buying and selling. If I can ever get my paypal to work I'll be getting a membership myself, there's a lot of good resources on this site

Re: My first truck ever....a 72!
A premium member is a paying member. It allows one to sell on here to increasing degrees according to the pay amount. Apparently it was a no no for me to even suggest a sell without his upgrade, my apologies.
I became a paying member simply because I had gotten so much crucial advice and felt a bit obligated. I am yet to list anything for sale. However, I own my own website and the costs are very high just for what I have, so I figured the costs on such a website as this must be higher still. I hope I didn't put the original poster on the spot. I was kidding about the step bumper, for the most part. |

Premium Member means you kicked some $$$ to the forum and can use all of its resources.
That includes messaging and Want To Buy Adds and such. I buy in every other year. Lots of help here. Do a LOT of reading, and you'll have a great truck in no time. Cheers! Nice Truck, btw! |

That's a very good looking start regardless of where you go. I'd be happy driving it as it sits.

It was harmless he just asked that's all, no harm done.
Nice truck man! I am really starting to dig that flat black look. And you sure can't beat a long bed. Pics of the SPID and interior? Maybe some of under the hood? |
