Parting Out 67 Longbed

I bought this truck with the idea that I was going to swap out some parts back and forth with my 69, then give it to my father to give him an old truck to play with. I've been working out of town a good bit, and the old man decided he didn't have time to put it back on the road.

Basic rundown:
  • 67 Longbed (small back window cab)
  • 5 Lug swapped front and rear (don't know ratio on rear)
  • Cab has rockers and cab supports replaced with tri-plus parts, but the job wasn't done right. It doesn't appear that the outer and inner rockers are connected like they should be.
  • Doors are shot.
  • Bed has some rust bubbling on the sides, but is overall pretty solid.
  • No motor, set up for a small block. Last motor was a 327 that PO removed to put in a Camaro. Turbo 350 still present.
  • Title is available if someone wanted to buy whole.

I'd sell the whole truck for $800, or part out for the prices below.

Cab $300
Front Fenders SOLD
Hood $100
Core Support $50
Grille $75
Bed $150
Front Suspension/Brakes $200
5 Lug Rear $150
Turbo 350 SOLD
Seat $50

I would prefer not to remove the front suspension and rear end before the other large parts of the truck are spoken for.

Truck is sitting at my father's place in Charlotte. Prices are negotiable.

How much for complete door mirrors with brackets (if available)? Also price/condition of armrests and rearview mirror with bracket?

I could really use the fiber optic cable and holder for the shift indicator if it is not cracked or broken

Re: Parting Out 67 Longbed

Be patient with me guys. It's going to be a few days before I can get back to the truck. Driving an hour and a half daily to and from work.

Mr. Chivo
I am most likely going to keep the mirrors for my truck. I've got a new set of 72 sport mirrors, but after seeing these in person I haven't decided which I'm going to use. I will pull the arm rests and rear view when I get back down there and get you some pictures and pricing.

Hunter67stepside
I will look at the cable and indicator housing to check condition. Assuming they fit in a small flat rate box how is $10 shipped?

jjzepplin
It's a short drive up to Charlotte. Bring a trailer and take home the whole front end

Would have to be the weekend of the 23rd. It's my anniversary this weekend and I promised a weekend at the beach. You're first up on the fenders and other parts listed. I'll get you some pics as soon as I can to make sure you are comfortable with condition before driving down.

Assume you're talking about the lights inside the grille? If so I'll try to pull them and get you pics as soon as I can.

As the quotes below show,I've been very up front in this very thread that I had other commitments (work and family related) that had to be taken care of ahead of parting out this truck. I should be able to spend some time with the truck tomorrow on my way back home from my trip. I will update you, and everyone else that has asked about something tomorrow evening when I'm back home.

I have the title (SC), but haven't transferred it to my name. I was going to give it to my dad and let him title it when I thought he was going to put a motor in it and use it as a beater. When he said he didn't think he'd have time for it I decided to part it out. I tossed the title in my desk drawer and haven't looked at it since.

You'd be second in line on the grille hoop. waylonbud asked about it in his post about the fenders.

Steering column should be complete, but I'd like to keep it with the truck for a little while just in case I have to move it around in the yard. Also have no idea what a column usually goes for. If you'd like to make an offer and are fine waiting a few weeks to complete the deal I'm sure we can work something out. I may even throw in that sweet steering wheel to reward your patience
