Who makes new wireing harnesses for th400 kickdown switch
HEY GUYS I,D like to buy a brand new wireing harness for my th400 electrical kick down switch. anybody know who makes them ?
also my th400 has a 1 prong electrical case connector. the trans did "not" come out of a 67-72 pickup I dont think ! is stock 1 or 2 wire hookup for the kickdown on a 1972 truck. thanks again bob

I would try 'Lectric Limited. One wire is correct for all TH400 I've ever seen.

Found out the 2 wire case connectors are for varible pitch converters or spark control not pertinate to our trucks.

This is not a replacement harness, but a a complete new setup from Lokar. GM Performance Parts recommended it for a crate engine I bought. I haven't installed it yet so I can't say how well it works. Looks great and appears to be high quality. Here are links to Lokar's site and one on eBay for $68 plus $10 shipping. Jegs and Summit Racing also sell them for a bit under $80.

I'm confused why you would want the Lokar one? The TH400 kickdown is very simple-ignition switched power to a switch on the accelerator pedal and then a single wire to the transmission. Why add cables off the carb?
