Just had some blasting done.
I wanted to tell anyone in the SE Michigan area about the place I had do some blasting for me. The name is Ace Strippers, they are in Hazel Park at Dequindre and 9 Mile. I had them do the bottom bed cross sills and one of the bed steps. They did an excellent job, plus they powder coated the cross sills for me. They really know what they are doing there. The guy was really nice and helpful. I would recomoned going there. I can do the small stuff at home, but the larger items, I would rather have someone else do. I am definately going back there. If anyone wants any other info, just ask me.
Thanks Jason |

Thanks-
I am always looking for places in Michigan for this kind of stuff. I wish there were more Michigan people on here. Do you know of any good junkyards or sheetmetal places for our trucks?

Not to be a wiseguy, but sheetmetal (used) in your area would be pretty rusty. There's lots of guys in the Southwest that can help with good rustfree stuff.

Sheetmetal places are few and far between. You really are best to find someone from either down south or out west to get you sheetmetal. I get mine from a guy in Alabama. It's much better than around here. Michigan metal is going to be bad. Most yards don't keep parts as old as our trucks around anymore. They usually want newer parts that will turn over faster. There is a guy in Davison that has a bunch of western parts, but he is expensive. Although, he is selling off all his stuff, so he might be negotiating.
