Upper and Lower A-Arm bushings...
This guy I'm helping on his '68 got his a-arms after being powder coated so the question is are these bushing sleeves (left in the arms) supposed to be removed to install new ones?

Those are part of the control arm.

Re: Upper and Lower A-Arm bushings...
Thanks to all replies, which come to find out they are 73+, so some PO apparently has changed them out and not sure why. It sure makes it challenging to figure out what to buy. The bushings are on the way for a rebuild.
So now I'm curious which center link I have. Any body happen to know the hole diameters for 73+ center link? Thanks Ed

Re: Upper and Lower A-Arm bushings...
The center links are all the same for disc brake trucks. If you want you can verify it like I did by looking up the inner tie rod part number and the idler arm part number. 1/2 ton and 3/4 ton are both the same.
