Saying good bye to "Pabst Blue Ribbon"
Its been a hard descision but, I have to say good bye to the Blue Ribbon. This by far has been the funnest build I have ever done in my life. I owe all you a huge thanks for your knowledge and for your kind words.
I would like to give a big thanks to Jack (chevytrucknut) He personally came over and helped me with some of the wrenching. Thanks to the Drop Shop in Portland for hooking a brother up with a killer bag system. The reason for the sale is as follows. This is a lot of money wrapped up that rarely gets driven. We live in the great north west with crappy weather and nasty winters. Poor Blue will sit all winter. Now with the baby and Wife I need a fun Chevy (duh) that I can enjoy year round. So I am going back to my roots. Back to the 4x4 days. I have owned several K5's, Burbs and 1 tons. I am going to buy a k5, put it on 35's and start from there. I will still be around lurking from time to time on your forum page, only cause I trust you guys. But you can probably find me doing a thread on the 73-91 Blazer Forum. Hopefully the 66 will sell soon, and let the fun begin. Thanks again guys!!!

Re: Saying good bye to "Pabst Blue Ribbon"
Sorry to hear bro. I was hopein to someday to see your truck around Ptown. What you doing with the PBR box? BTW, your PBR theme has inspired a PBR air cleaner of my own...
It will go on this 327, when the build is done... Cheers!!!

I love it.. You might see it still rolling around, if it stays local. I am gonna sell the box with the truck. That is unless some one whats to let me keep it.. I doubt that.. I am wanting to keep it the way it is for someone to really enjoy.
These are tough times and hopefully some good will come of it.

Re: Saying good bye to "Pabst Blue Ribbon"
take it run with it.. I will have to come up with some new ideas for my K5 that I find. You got any ideas? Thinking I am gonna go mid to late 80's, black wheels, 35's tinted out, maybe paint the grill and lights black. Want to make it a nasty but clean fun family truck that I can still show boat.

Re: Saying good bye to "Pabst Blue Ribbon"
Sorry to hear you are selling it, but it's for good reasons and hopefully you will get to start a new build soon. I grew up with my Dad's 1980 K5 Blazer, got my license in it, enjoyed great times in it, he still has it and they are awesome trucks, he put 350K on the original 350 and aside from a few transmissions over the years I think he is now almost up to half million miles with nothing ever done besides regular maintenance. Good luck and enjoy your new future builld!

Sorry to hear you're letting her go, but you gotta do what you gotta do. Good luck with the sell! I would also like to get in line for the PBR stuff that may get left behind.
