PROOF! Rust belt truck cabs originally had floors!
Check out this option sheet. Notice the E81 option! Anybody else got floorboards?
This may also put me in the running for least options, or at least the lamest options. After all every truck was painted, had a seat, vinyl trim and FLOORBOARDS!

Jeff,
I thought that "floorboard" meant that it had the high hump. Is this not correct? The trucks that we have with the high hump have "floorboard" on the glovebox door listing. Jim |

Jim, this truck was a 250/ 3 speed column with a low hump. I have no idea what this option indicates.

My 71 resto pack says E81 is a wood floor pickup box option. The descriptive wording "Floor Board" seems odd however. It's usually described as "Pickup Box Floor"

Non-flintstone version!!
I'm certain floorboard option indicates wood bedfloor in fleetside.

What plant was that truck built at? Mine was built in fremont, ca, and it had the wood floor, but it doesnt say floor board on the option list (says something else, but I forget exactly what) I am wondering if each plant had some different names for the options/ From what I have seen, that would make sense.

This one was built in Tarrytown, NY. It's a 71. It's the wood floor pickup box but e81 is usually described as "Pickup Box Floor" on every other truck I've seen. Floor Board just seems odd.
BTW, a one option truck if you discount the seat, paint and trim codes. I think they were included on this option sheet so it would not look so "empty".:p

Now you just need a new glove box door with the right options list.

My panel only has 3 options listed Turbo Hydromatic (400) Auxillary seat and Dark green paint. And if you want a custom options sheet sombody on the board, I think it was Yukon Jack had one you could fill out and print.
