Rear end questions
So I have a couple of extra chassis I'm going to be getting rid of. A 67 C10 that had V8 and factory OD. I also have a 69 C10 chassis that had a V8 and factory OD. I have another but I'm not sure what it is or what engine trans it had in it (I think its a 68). My panel body is resting on it right now while I'm moving stuff around.
Any guesses if these are worth hanging on to? Do you have an idea on what the ratio would have been by the little bit of info Ive given? Anything else worth saving on these before they get scrapped? Trailing arms are all good.

Re: Rear end questions
I wont need it for sure, but if it has value and one of the local guys needs something large like this I would definitely sell or make a trade of some sort.

Re: Rear end questions
If you can find the code letters on them you can look them up in the charts here.
http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/s...d.php?t=578793 A couple of the code locations are posted in post #8 & #19. Only the first two or three letters are used depending on the year.... LockDoc

Re: Rear end questions
This sentiment can only be carried so far and remain within reason, but remember: when it comes to parts or assemblies that aren't reproduced - they ain't making any more of them. Every time one is crushed it's one less that an enthusiast like yourself can use to revive their machine.
I'd be interested in a set of trailing arms if you were closer, but alas...

Re: Rear end questions
Ill have to make a trip out to the farm this week and see if I can find the codes. I was thinking since they were both factory OD trucks something might be different on the rears compared to non OD.
