67-68 Steel Grille painted rings ($70 shipped) ($50 picked up) Back has surface rust but front is perfect, except paint that is peeling off

1/2 ton Dana 44 parts (let me know what you need, I have three of them!) open and closed knuckle 3.08's, 3.07's and 3.73's

I don't have the dual setup anymore but I have one stock stabilizer...

Dana 44's are all 1/2 ton, not sure if they will fit yours...

I'll get pics, when I removed the bowtie from the center I noticed the it was hiding a small dent behind it, wasn't visable with the bowtie.... Has some surface rust behind the grille (normal) and could use stripped from a previous poor paintjob. I could blast the entire thing buy would hate to warp it.

The hubs are different,as are the lockouts.I Think the axle ahafts for the front are the same 3/4 or 1/2 as long as they are both closed knuckle.Im not sure,the 3/4 ton might be more heavy duty though and/or have different splines

thanks Jerry, how hard is it to pull those closed knuckles aprart, think that I should keep it around for originality or stay with my disc/open knuckle swap?

Tearing them down is simple since it has kingpins instead of ball joints. i would stick with the open knuckle/ disc front end in your personal truck. around here, the only people who want closed knuckles are mud boggers. i would save any "bolt on" items that are specific to the closed knuckle and scrap the rest. if it's a 3:73 or 4:10, save the ring and pinion/carrier too.

i need this draglink or whatever you call it.is it the same as 3/4 ton not sure if mines open or closed knuckle.its a 71 with disk see how the tie rods are offset thats the way mine is.i dont have the stabilizer.

let me see, the black axle is on top of the knuckle and the others are on bottom... I'll send a measurement but other than that I don't know if it's the same as a 3/4 ton...
