Question for the room. :]
What is the diameter of the crankshaft balancer pulleys. Where can I purchase larger pulleys to create an overdrive situation. Would this not turn the a/c compressor faster at low rpm's??? Alternator also???

If you want OEM style V-belt pulleys, look at some of the Corvette restoration places. Different years and options had different size pulleys. You also can get the high-perf deep groove pulleys.
For water pump pulleys, make sure you get the correct pilot diameter. Some Corvettes (69-81?) Had a larger 5/8" shaft.

Is the mentality correct though, a larger crankpulley should turn the accessories faster?? Has anyone tried this??? :} Let's hear from the a/c experts out there!!! :}
