Door weatherstrip choices
I am looking for the best fit and function weatherstrip for the doors of the 1970 blazer. I am changing all rubber, window sweeps inside door rubber, door opening rubber...you know the drill. I have been told the new window sweeps do not work well but I don't know. Who sells them and what brand if any should I get? Thanks bigdon

Re: Door weatherstrip choices
I don't believe there is more than one brand. There aren't enough blazers out there to support more than one brand. Pick your favorite vendor and place the order.

Re: Door weatherstrip choices
There is more then one brand or at least version. I bought a pair from the Truck Shop a few years back for my Jimmy , bought another set recently for my Blazer off of ebay and it was Softseal brand which looks and feels way better then the ones I got from the Truck Shop. Best part of it all is I bought one and they sent me two pairs so I am going to put Softseal on both trucks. Only problem I have now with the ones I installed on my Blazer is that I have to slam the door big time to get it to close all the way, and its been a few months since installing it.

Re: Door weatherstrip choices
I just replaced mine on my 72 Blazer. I ordered them from LMC. Not to hard, and they work well.
