how do i take the gas tank out?

so i got everything disconnected( bolts, seatbelts, fuel lines) and its ready to pull out except the fuel filler grommet is in the way. how do i take it out? or how do i take the grommets off?[IMG][/IMG]

It will come out with the grommet in place. You just have to twist and turn and slowly work it out.

Just slide the tank to the passenger side while lifting the passenger side only and it should slip out.

I just pulled my tank. What worked for me was to lift on the bottom corner farthest from the neck. Tilt the bottom towards the dash and pull at same time. It’s a little work but it will come out.

Use a little lube, it helped me get mine in
