I am wanting to replace my headlights, and i was wondering, is there a special headlight for our trucks?? I want to shy away from the traditional "yellow" color and am looking for some that look like all the mercedes and jags do with the "blue hue" to them. if you know anything about cost and where i can find them it would be greatly appreciated

The blue color your looking for is called "HID" lights. If you ever have a vehicle with these lights (2001 up GM SUV's and alot of imports) you'll wish it never had them, Not because of the intense light they give off but the $600.00 PER light cost if the transformer ever goes out.

ok enough about that lol... Summit racing sells the Hella light kits that changes a regular size sealed headlight assembly into a newer style reflector light. This style uses the 9004 bulb that you can buy in regular / Ultra bright (white light) / or HID "Look" ( Blueish tint).

Go with the Hella light and a set of ultra bright bulbs.

If you go with the 9004's (or anything more than 55 watts) don't forget to get some bigger wire in there, and relay the power so you don't burn out your light switch and burn your truck to the ground.

XXL, could you give a bit more detail(how to do it) about "relaying the power". What is the difference in amps between orginal and "HID" lights?

To get more power to your new headlights (I think this is what XXL was trying to say), use a relay. The old headlight wires are used across the coils of the relay and therefore don't have to push much current. Use heavy guage cable straight from the battery to the relays to drive the new lights.

Here is a kit I just came out with. It is a complete coversion kit for the 67-72 Chevy trucks. You do not have to splice any wires.
Just take out your old light and replace them with the new, insert the H-4 bulbs and plug your existing highlight plug back in. In this kit you have a choice of the h-4 regular watt xenon crystal bulbs or the 80/100 watt xenon crystal bulbs.

Sylvania has some HID lights, plus some less-expensive choices that offer higher output. Check out their website.
