Suspension clank?

Hey guys

Ever since I hauled that engine up and hit a nice big bump my truck has been clanking real hard up front from what sounds / feels like the right hand side. Think I broke a coil? Or is there anything else I should check?

well to check a coil just look at it other than that first ya jack up the front end and watch the components while ya wiggle the wheel back and forth then to check ball joints you stick a pipe or smething under the front of the wheel and try to get motion in there by bringing the wheel to and fro motion youll see if therye bad

Alright, I'll take a look at it tommorow. The truck only clanks when I hit a bump, and only does it sometimes (becoming a whole lot more often now) Not dependant on how big the bump is, sometimes just swaying in my lane will cause it...

Make sure that your coil is in the pocket...
Also check your upper a-arm bolts, and the lower arm u-bolts that hold the arm to the member....
