Quick Disconnects
I got a set of quick disconnects for my B-day. I can sure feel the difference in the ride of my Jimmy. The sway bar would act like a stop and would limit the up and down motion of the front suspension. Since the 72 4X4 did not come with one, and also add a 4 inch lift. The geometry of the bar and the springs were not the same. The disconnects act like a spring shackle for the sway bar and corrected that.

Swaybar mounts
Here are a couple of pics of how I did it. BobK also has a good write up of how he made some.

I have a sidewinder winch between the frame rails, I integrated it's cross member into my front sway bar mount fabrication. Yes the parts are from a 73 and up. These are the best pics I have right now.
