In tank filter (Strainer)

-
I picked up a new filter for inside the fuel tank at my local Chevy dealer. The part number is 5651705 @ 14.64, plus tax.. I told them it was for a 1967 Chevy. I'm not 100% sure if there are different size fuel pickup tubes but it seems like there are. Maybe 1/4' & 5/16"??.....

Re: In tank filter (Strainer)

6 bangers and 2bbl small blocks V8's used the 5/16. Everthing else used the 3/8 IIRC. Why I don't know, think it would have been cheaper for GM to standardize on 3/8 for everything.

I thought I had seen a reference to two different ones but I couldn't remember for sure. CRS is a terrible thing to waste so I try to use it whenever I can.....
