Tailgate chains?
Just wanted to see if you guys have any ideas or suggestions on how to get rid of the tailgate chains?
I haven't seen anything yet but, it seems like there has to be an answer to the rusty old chains. Also, if you have any pics of what you have done that would be awesome!!! Thanks, Cody |

Re: Tailgate chains?
I just cut eye off tailgate, welded that and pivot hole up on bed. Welded brackets for a fence on the inside of bed on each side to hold it shut. Still doing the body work as I just did this week.

Re: Tailgate chains?
I fiddled with straps and latches from the salvage yard, ended up going the Mar-K route. They are great.
