Emergency Brake Handle

Can the e-brake handle under the dash be converted to a pedal brake or a hand brake in the floor? If so what do you use to convert?

This has been covered before. just do a search on e-brake and check those threads.

If you want to use a 69-72 foot operated brake pedal you will have to make some mods to the firewall cause the fuse box is in a different location.

Someone stated that they had used a later ( 80's) cable version foot pedal without too many mods.

You can probably find that in the old threads.

If you can: Look at the differences between the hand and foot operated cabs that will tell you alot.

In the long run it is easier to keep the earlier style version.
