rant: stupid po's
stop and Macdonald's today before work went to leave went to turn right and heard a pop then steering wheel went free the po had installed some small apc wheel and half azzed the installation of it so what it comes down too in the adapter is striped out okay got o advance auto get an new adapter get back wont work with wheel went back and got a new steering wheel get all back together get it home. find out i got an wore out steering column with a inch okay side to side and up and down

Had a 68 that PO had done similar thing to. Went to mall with friends, came back to house and steering shaft snapped JUST AS I was pulling into spot. Close call, coulda happened while driving @45... nutso.
 Bearings were toast and basically sawed through the shaft.

I just like when people modify there stuff saw a very pretty 1963 Impalla SS and t5he nest thing i see this kid to is try to do the 3 wheel cruiser and somthing sheared under it and all he could do is say oh sh-t be for he hit this 60k BMW man i still like to be there when the cop ask him why do you have hydrlic on this car or better yet why are you running arounf on 13 inch tires on a 4600 pound car boy i'm glad i don't have to deal with the INS on that and possible jail time here in calif they have a law if you modify your car or truck and its unsafe for the highway and you hurt some one thats call negalgens can't spell to well that will get you hard 10 years in state prison if you kill some one that manslater with specail matters per charge 15-life

PO of my truck tore it down all the way and was getting ready to put it on a later model 4x4 frame. That wouldn't have been a bad thing except he was going to hop it up and make it an off road trail truck. Can you imagine the damage that woulda been done. This truck is about 90% rust free. Not bad for a 1968 model in southern Illinois. At least I don't have to do the tear down I just have to figure out how it all goes back together.
