July 2016 ToTM
Bring on ole Glory and her red white and BLUE. Our July Truck of the Month (ToTM) theme is….
Don’t Step on Blue! So check out the criteria to participate in this month’s contest. • Open to all stepside trucks where the primary exterior color is Blue. Flames, striping, or some details maybe added, but the primary color must be blue • The vehicle nominated needs to belong to a board member during the time of the contest. • The must be together and able to move on its own power. • The truck has to be licensed for street use. • If a truck was selected as a 2015 TOTM winner, then you are ineligible. If the truck was nominated but not selected as a TOTM winner, then it may be nominated and compete in this month's category. To Nominate: You or someone else may nominate the vehicle. The nominee must be a board member and the current owner of the truck. Once you decide on who you wish to nominate, just add your nomination to this thread. We will need two pictures minimum, at least one full view of the vehicle and one of the engine, along with the owner’s board name and Make/Model/Year of vehicle. Nominees will run through June 23. The first 15 nominees that meet the criteria will participate in the contest. I will PM the nominees to get any additional data or pictures if they have not already been provided. If the owner has a preferred picture they want used in the contest, please let me know in a PM. You can PM me for an e-mail address in case anyone has problems resizing the pictures for the board. A Voting Poll Thread will be set up by June 24 in this board area and an announcement will be posted on the Discussion Boards to notify all that voting has begun. The voting will run thru June 30 and the official announcement of the winner will be on the evening of June 30. The announcement of the TOTM winner will be posted through the General Discussion Board area.

Re: July 2016 ToTM
I really think mine has a way to go before it's worthy for Nomination. Beings few have been posted so far, I figured I might as well nominate mine.
Mine is a 1965 short stepside. I owned it back in 83. My first vehicle. But later sold it. Found it and bought it back around 2012 - (25 years later.) I think it looks like a hotrod, but I use it as a truck. The color is kind of a fauxtina blue. . The engine is a 283 with a Fitech TBI. Here is a more recent pic of the engine :
