Where can you buy a filler that you can put in the bed floor? and what is the height of the blazer tank, as I am putting it in a lowered truck. THanks for the help.

I got a "cool cap" from AirRide Technology. It looks like the smooth cab from a boat that uses a key to open it.

Jamis posted a good URL. Most marine supply sites have much better prices on the nice fuel filler caps then the Cool Cap.
I have some URLs at home I can post later...

I was going that route with my '67, but now I am considering the hinged bed floor plank idea myself

Actually thats the way I'm going as well, I just got my fuel cell with a d-ring cap. if not the wood maybe with a polished round SS door on the bed floor.

Which fuel cell are you using?
I bought the Summit circle track cell because I didnt want the fuel fittings on the bottom. I am going to make a SS or aluminum box to set the cell in, then attach to my frame. If I get it done this week I will post some pics.

I capped off the rear frame with that brace from ECE

I need to start researching how to hinge that plank

Last time i was at autozone i noticed that they sold the "cool cap" style and they were less than half the price of the one linked above.

a friend of mine used a normal gas cap covered by a normal gas door off of a newer car and made it flush with his bed floor on the left(drivers side) rear corner

How did the rear crossmember fit ? I just ordered one for my 67 so my 24x20x10 cell would fit with the rear sump at the back of the truck and not out the side. You can't beat the price.

I know, it's a nice piece.
My dry fit went well. I did have to tweak the ends of the frame ever so little.
Once it returns from the powdercoater I'll bold the bottom in place and snap a pic

Here is mine, I have installed a new sport bumper and will update with pics very soon. I run a ECE 4-6 drop BTW.

This may give you an idea on how low they hang. Mine is not lowered, but it gives you an idea on how far below the frame the blazer tank hangs.

I dont like the blazer tanks on a lowered truck. I also don't like the hacking that needs to be dont to the bed crossmember to get it to tuck. IMO.
