Re: Goldie coming along
Very nice....... Is that rear bumper low or is it just the angle.
I have been looking for those filler pieces that go between the rear bumper and the bed

Re: Goldie coming along
Let's see the bed. Curious if the pumpkin is poking through? Mine touches the underside of the bed floor and pushes the boards up a little, but isn't as low as yours.

what mods did you do the the front end besides spindles ? Air bags of course up front and rear but did you section the crossmember or add cups to the lower control arms ??? I have a build in process and do not really want to make it layout but just sit like yours does when lowered and then raise to go down the road.....thanks kieth |

In the front we weld the flat bottom plate, then the top flat plate we notched so the bag would fit inside when deflated. We did take pictures. The fronts also drop spindled too. It sits the front flat on the ground and the tires touching the factory inners with a 215/70/15. I used the bigger Firestone bag on the front just cause it collapses down better the the AirLift bag. In the rear we build our own weld in notch, I plate the inside rail for strength and use a 6.5" inside diameter pipe to fit the axle and u-bolts into a little better. I spent a little time with it on the rack just grinding little issues to make sure everything cleared the way I wanted it to. Has a 2" block, Airlift Bags stock locations, Rear end goes thru the bed floor (no kissing it here). But still not crazy like I'm use too. But I think we trimmed it off nicely!!! Double switch panel, dual needle gauges, 5 gallon tank, 2- ViAirs 444s, 175 pressure switch. Hope that helps!!! |

Re: Goldie coming along
Very classy.
Did you decide to white out the upper cab or just keep the white roof panel?
