Anyone one used the LOKAR cables?
Was wanting to know if anyone has installed a LOKAR cable kit on there 67-72 trucks? I have a 700R4 transmission and i am planning on getting the throttle cable and the transmission TV (kick down cable). I have read some bad stuff about them being a pain to get adjusted. Also do you have to buy a new gas pedal? thanks alot in advance. please send pics if you have any. Pics of the firewall and the gas pedal mounting. i will be installing this to a holley street advanger carb if that makes any kind of difference. thanks agin

I have the TV cable on mine. I don't have a good pic of the setup. I'll try to take one later.
As for adjusting, it's not that bad. I did use a geometry corrector bracket, too.

Everything I have used from Lokar (throttle cables, pedal pads and pedal kits, kickdown cables for TH350 and TH400) have been wonderful. Easy to adjust and they work great.

Thanks for all the info guys but does anyone have a pic of how the cable attaches to the pedel? Can I use the factory style or do I need a new style?

Here's the pics of my TV cable setup.
  What year truck do you have? if it's a pre-71, I'm not sure of a way to attach the cable to the stock pedal setup. You would either need to get the Lokar pedal assembly or switch to a 71-72 pedal setup.

Thanks 69stepbed mine is also a 68. That picture help out alot. I bought a new holley and a throttle linkage rod like the one you have I just didn't know how to bend it to get it to clear everything this helps a lot. Thank you
