August 2007 Truck Of The Month
This month our theme is:
Get it Inline... We'll be looking at all those who break the mold and go with an inline 6 for power. Let us check out the criteria or rules for those being nominated. • Open to all years and models of trucks, Blazers/Jimmys, Suburbans, and panels. • Truck must be powered by any Inline 6. • It must be together and able to move on its own power. • If a truck has won a TOTM already in 2006 or 2007, you are ineligible. If you were nominated but were not selected as a TOTM winner then you may be nominated and compete in this month's category. To Nominate: You or someone else may nominate your truck. Just add the nomination to this thread. We will need a two picture minimum with/for the nomination. One picture of the engine (at least) and one full outside view of the nominee's vehicle, as well as the owner’s board name, and the any specs of the truck (interior details, year, engine/drive train specs). You or your nominator can provide additional info if desired. Nominees will through August 24. If additional information is needed, then I will PM the first 15 nominees to get any additional data or pictures if they have not already been provided. You can PM me for an e-mail address in case anyone has problems resizing them for the board. A Poll Thread will be set up in this board area. The poll will have 1 engine and 1 outside shot of the nominee's vehicle. An announcement will be posted on the Discussion Boards to notify all of the voting. The Poll will start to run on August 25 and will run until the morning of August 31. The official announcement of the winner will be on the afternoon of August 31. The announcement of this month’s TOTM winner will be posted through the General Discussion Board area. OK boys (& gals), LINE em up!

Re: August 2007 Truck Of The Month
I'll need to find out who exactly it was, but there was a lad who had a red one, all cherry'd out, and the pictures he showed us of it had him hauling landscaping in it. I do believe it was a stepside as well. If anyone has half a clue WTH I'm talking about, please feel free to speak up.

Re: August 2007 Truck Of The Month
I’m sure I don’t stand a chance. What the heck. Here is mine. It is a 70 short step with a 250 i6 with only 46500 miles on the original engine and Trans (hence the engine bay has not been touched). The paint is hugger orange. I also had the entire interior done in white leather to match.
