Cleaning up stock center caps
I am cleaning up my stock wheels, rings and center caps and getting ready to swap on some fresh rubber. The center caps are cloudy, the chrome is not shining. What should I use to clean them up? Would a Brillo pad work without scratching the finish?
Thanks Guys, --bob |

Re: Cleaning up stock center caps
the brillo pad is too rough...try some 000 or 0000 steel wool...you can find it in a hardcore hardware store.

Re: Cleaning up stock center caps
if the sticker part of the centercaps are beyond cleaning, i believe LMC sells replacements

Re: Cleaning up stock center caps
00 or finer steel wool, as everyone else has mentioned.
The base that is silver will clean off and go all chrome, makes them look really nice.
