Sport Bumper Question

Hi guys,

I am new to the site. I have owned my 67 chevy truck for about 6 months.
I am wanting to put a sport bumper on my truck but I am finding that these are hard to come by. My question is can you buy an aftermarket sport bumper and the brackets for a swb fleetside truck and if their is an aftermarket version how does it fit?
Thanks in advance for the help.

Welcome to the board.
Yes both bumper and brackets are available in reproduction parts.

Classic Parts of America sells both.

Re: Sport Bumper Question

They fit and look great. I would recommend Brothers, they have tripe chrome plated bumpers with a lifetime warranty against pitting and peeling.

Re: Sport Bumper Question

LeeH have you ever used any of their bumpers? I'm needing one for the rear or have mine rechromed

Re: Sport Bumper Question

Yes, I'm using Brothers bumpers. If I had an original one I would have the rechromed.

Re: Sport Bumper Question

Welcome to the board from just down the road in Lyman. Let's see a picture of that 67. I'm curious to see if it's a truck that I looked at it when I was looking for my truck - purchased in December. Good Luck!

Re: Sport Bumper Question

I have aftermarket front and rear bumpers. They are one of the few aftermarket parts that fits like it should.
