Safety glasses
Got a small plasma cutter yesterday and needed to know if I have to use my welding helmet, or can I use a dark tinted pair of saftey glasses. Gotta be safe and keep my eyes for awhile!!!

I have been told that it's safe to go without...but I find that hard to swallow.
(some one please prove that as bad advice) Personally, I use the real heavy green tinted glasses... cutting torch style. I never notice any spots or anything nor vunny vision after doing it this way. (AGAIN... some one tell me if this is wrong too) |

you can't be too safe with your eyes// i'd use the gas welding glasses if i had a plasma cutter
