Bi-Quaterly header post!
yep its that time again, except this time Im getting them fixed. I have officially had it with my manifold leak, I have a used set of headers that needs a little weld near a joint. I will wirebrush them tonight, spray them with some flame thrower ceramic blend paint and hopefully have them on before the board meet in GBO on Sat.
Any tips on curing the Hi Temp spray Coating? Also the exhaust guy said no problem welding small cracks, especailly since its a from time to time driver, and not daily or show quality.

Re: Bi-Quaterly header post!
Ok, so I ignored all of the good advice from earlier and did it the cheap way. Part of the reason I bought the used was I have no money.
Last night as planned I wired brushed them, and then went a step I had not thought of and pre-treated them with Por 15 Marine Clean and Metal ready rust remover. After an hr of Metalready I wiped them down good and sprayed them with VHT Flame proof Ceramic blend. I know it wont last forever but hopefully the extra step with the metal ready will carry it a couple of years. Not a show truck anyway, but I would have hated putting rusty headers on. Pics will come later, its at the shop now getting them attached.
