Which SEM colour to match my door panels?
I'm doing some interior work on my 75 High Sierra, and I'm looking to match the colour of my door panels to one of the SEM colour coats to do my dash and and door panels with. I found the SEM Saddle Tan 15033(?) that LOOKS and the paper tags on the reverse side of my door panels say light saddle, so I this is the correct one. However, it looks different in photos I found on Google. Has anyone here used this particular colour before? Does it match well? Or ahould I go with the Camel colour?

I paid a couple of dollars for a sheet of example colors. It was a huge help as nothing served on the web and displayed on the screen is going to come close to real life color matching.

This is what will happen if you don't get it right.
This is what will happen if you don't get it right. I'm not sure what was used because it was done prior to my ownership of the truck. This is too light. Notice the kick panel color by contrast.. Go to your local automotive paint shop and buy a pint of dye that's the right color. They can match it to your door panel or they can look it up in a book. I did this before on an old mercury cougar and it turned out amazing. |
