Re: my week end!

Looks to be a 1960-1963 chevrolet dash. Interesting!

Re: my week end!

Interesting set up on the Prop. Valve.

I may have mine on backwards. But, after all, as long as the juice goes
to the front or back properly, what does it really matter?

Nice looking work.

Re: my week end!

actually the prop valve is off a 85 and yes it is on backwards. my truck was non power drum set up and the way the lines were bent just happened to fit the valve in the backwards position. so i left it so I would not have to bend the lines all up. the lines from the master to the valve i made and gm made them worm proof. the fittings for the back brakes are different sizes so it keeps you from messing up. I reallly did not like the thought of criss crossing the lines but it don't look too bad i guess. I made a card board template of the 61 dash front and compared it to the 67 the front looks like it will match up good but it will get a little harry where the windshield bends. Im debateing on leaveing an inch of the old dash and cutting the nose off of the 61 and grafting them togeather. My concern is that i dont want to mess up the pinch welded lip that the windshield seals to and there is about a million spot welds. it will be time consumeing to clean it off with out messing it up and then ill still have to fab some where the winshield turns in. Im also going to have to leave a few inches of the face of the oe dash cause at the bottom where your knees would hit is a little narrower on the 61
