Upgraded Instrument Cluster
I am just finishing an upgraded instrument cluster. Started out with a very nice rig from T-bone (Thanks Tom). This cluster is fitted with an original speed warning Speedometer, converted ammeter to a voltage gauge, 8K Tachometer, vacuum gauge, manual throttle control and if you look closely you will see an additional hole that will hold a deluxe knob for intermittent wiper control. Also has LED bulbs. I’m very excited and just wanted to share.
Todd

Re: Upgraded Instrument Cluster
Looks great! Interested in more details on your intermittent wiper set up! Looks like using original switch to turn on/off and set the 2 speeds, but the other will control delay only? Like that you're keeping it looking original with the knobs etc.

Jocko, I sourced the intermittent wiper relay from another board member. Basically if has a small electronic box that splices Into the original switch wires and then has its own switch which gives you full control of delay at any speed you desire. Your description on how it works is correct. Todd

Re: Upgraded Instrument Cluster
Believe it or not it still has a printed circuit in it. I got the voltage gauge from T-bone. With the rewired upgrade you tie together the temp gauge and voltage and don’t use that part of the printed circuit.
