Re: speedo cable help

It is very easy to get the floor shift linkages in wrong and it still work the tranny, but interfere with the speedo cable. I broke a speedometer cable because I bent mine too much when I mounted my Hurst shifter. These are the only pictures I have the showed how it should look when set up correctly. Trust me it is real easy to hook them up weird and they still work fine. Since I do not have my 6/speed combo any more, I don't have the directions either to refer to.

Hope these will help some.

BTW having a longer cable makes it easier to fiddle with, but not necessary.
