Who knows a good source for……..
Does anybody know of a good place to get some small parts re-plated. Not chrome, but like gold iodized or black iodized. I am not sure exactly sure what it is called, but I would like to get several parts like the BB sparkplug shields, the breather spacer, bolts, and several other parts that I can’t think of right now……Jason

Re: Who knows a good source for……..
DupliColor makes some great working stuff to make thing that are chrome look anodized.
Most likely chrome plating places do other stuff as well. List: http://www.plateworld.com/tx.htm There are also many kinds of powder for powdercoating that are anodized. http://www.thomasnet.com/northern-te...1520805-1.html http://www.industrynet.com/info.asp?CID=305577

Eastwood sells kits for different chemical coatings.I haven`t seen their catalog for awhile, but I believe they have a cadium-plate(multi-color) as well as others.
