68 trim

just wondering if anyone out there has done this, i have a buddy who took the body trim off his 68 lwb and not going to reuse it. since i am going two tone w/ my 71 he offered it to me really cheap, im just wondering if it will fit my truck and if so has anyone already done this? my 71 is a lwb as well.

I have not done it, but I removed the trim from my '68 and the only thing I could see you would have to do is drill holes in your fenders and doors for the trim mounts to pop into. The holes are roughly 3/8". I will look later today and see about the size and how many, as I have not filled mine in yet. I know that venders like LMC truck sell the replacement clips for the trim.
