Anyone heard of them? Or used them...?

Heres there wed page.

I ordered an 18 Circuit for my 71' and was wondering how much of a b*tch they are to install. I have some backround in wiring. But not a full harness. Any info?

Re: Hot Rod Wires

Nice man(couple). They go to alot of my swapmeets. Very nice and knowledgeable about his wires. I am sure he does all the work his self. He worked for GM for years. He uses a lot of gm parts. He also has lots of hard to find goodies. Fire wall grommets, wire loom, plug wire holders etc.

Re: Hot Rod Wires

Why not order a kit designed specifically for your truck? American Autowire either has one or they are about to release it. Their tech support is second to none.

Re: Hot Rod Wires

Well I already have this kit. And I didnt know about pre-built kits. Also my truck is almost 100% from front to back. I am wiring all of my Air Management and aftermarket electronics into the main harness also so it will act as if factory. So I didnt want something to specific anyways. Just wondering how much of a chore this install is gonna be.

Re: Hot Rod Wires

Thanks bro. Yea we will be tackling it in a day or two. Almost finishing up the fab then undercoating it all... a few small touch up panels under the cowl and seam sealer. Then wiring finial assembly and ride out. Were gonna try to make it to slamfest but it depends on how slammed we are at the shop. We may just come down for the day on sunday. We'll have to see how it goes.
