Old and New Cab Mounts Don't Match. Why
The picture shows an original 1968 3/4 4x4 rear cab mount and a new Energy Suspension mount. It is clear that the new ES mount is longer/taller (maybe .375 inch), which raises the rear of the cab. Everything lined up on the cab to fenders before dis-assembly. Could the old mount have collapsed that much in 40 years or is the new mount wrong?. The front cab mounts are the same height for the old and new.

The old ones do collapse some. Are those Poly cab mounts or rubber? LockDoc

Are the new mounts for a 1/2 ton or 3/4 ton. The 3/4 ton ones are taller than the 1/2 ton.

your old rubber mounts collapse over time BUT the poly mounts don't collapse and thats a bad thing. i have poly mounts in one of my 4x4s and i'll never use them again, they don't crush at all so you have to shim the front cab and rad mounts otherwise everything is in a major bind. they also kill any flex between the body and frame--it's so bad in my 72 cheyenne super that my headliner trim creaks and pops in serious off camber situations.

Re: Old and New Cab Mounts Don't Match. Why
If you Google Energy Suspension 3-4107 Polyurethane Mounts the following applications appear.
# Chevrolet 4WD K10 1967-1972 # Chevrolet 4WD K20 1967-1972 # Chevrolet 4WD K30 1967-1972 # Chevrolet C20 1967-1972 # Chevrolet C2500 1967-1972 # Chevrolet C30 1967-1972 # Chevrolet C3500 1967-1972 This mount covers a lot of trucks. I expect to have the exact problem Jerry Moss has described. If I knew the proper height, I believe that the poly mount could be shortened rather than shimming the other mounts. Erl
