Question Aftermarket gauge wiring question

I'm starting to install Autometer gauges and have a question about the wiring to the instrument cluster. According to the wiring diagram I have:
* Light Blue wire, 14B is the left turn signal
* Dark blue, 15B is the right turn signal
* Light Green wire, 11B is the high beam indicator
* Brown wire, 25 is the alternator indicator light
* Pink wire, 39 is the ignition switch feed controlled
* Tan wire, 30 is the fuel level
* Blue wire, 31 is the oil pressure
* Gray wire, 8A is the instrument panel lights
* Tan wire, 33B is the brake warning lamp
* Dark green wire, 35B is the water temperature

My question is; where does the pink wire (39) tie into the new gauges since the factory connector and printed circuit are gone? Thanks

I am anxoius to see that answer myself. I have new Autometer gauges also, but haven't gotten around to installing them yet.

I have done it, but it was a while ago, I don't remeber exactly. What does the pink wire do? I understand "oil pressure", "water temp", but not "ignition switch feed controlled". If you could explain that for me I might be able to help.

Have Fun! Got a lot of compliments on mine when I got done.

Putter, This morning I spoke with one of the guys I work with who was a GM mechanic for years and his answer was that the Pink wire is the switched circuit to turn the electric gauges on when the ignition key is turned on so they can start receiving their inputs from the various sensors they are connnected to. So, the Pink wire will tie to the positive side of each electric gauge. Finally, it makes sense to me...
