Several months ago, I acquired a reasonably nice '71 C/10 short wide. It went through a "budget restoration" about 10 - 12 years ago.. Originally, it was a base model I-6/tott... A 454/TH350 was installed.. Numerous brackets, hinges and other bolt-on items were replaced with chrome plated pieces. Many of those pieces are now rusted.. I'm correcting many of the faults created from the "budget restoration".. The hood hinges are worn and sloppy, preventing the hood from closing properly.. Several vendors have replacement hinges that are equally priced.. My dilemma is who has the best hinges.. I'm not the least bit interested in those high dollar billet hinges, plain vanilla works just fine for me..

Goodmark usually does a good job at OER parts too.

Thanks guys.. I took a look at those Summit Racing hinges a few days ago and liked the reviews posted.. I figured I'd get some opinions first, but I think since I'm about 100 miles from the nearest Summit store, and shipping time will be at a minimum, I'll order from them..

Per the measurements I gave them. Ride height of truck inside spring and inside diameter of springs.
