help with hood alignment

after removing hood to work on engine...for the life of me i can not seam to get it back the way it was...Any tips on how too align the hood...thanks Waterboy

You are probably gonna hear this a lot when others post in this thread but: "you should always use something to mark the position of the bolts and hood position on hinges BEFORE you remove the hood" much easier to align this way. Too late for that now so the best thing to do is get a friend or two, put the hood back on and align as best you can, tighten bolts, slowly and carefully lower hood - do this over and over again until it is aligned to your satisfaction.
