2nd ones look like speed bump scrapers.
I bought a set of the 3/4 length chevelle headers and they look like the ones in the 1st pic?? Someone had a pic of them on his truck.

I took a pair of Hooker Super Comps off of my truck with the 77 chassis and put them on my daughters 72 Blazer and they fit fine. The passenger header was really close to the shackle bolt but it was ok.

YEH KURT, I THOUGHT ABOUT THOSE, JUST NOT SURE ABOUT SPENDING
THAT MUCH, LOOKS LIKE FOR THE BEST RESULTS YOU WOULD NEED TO
RUN THEIR ADAPTERS ALSO, THAT PUTS YOU AT $500.00 MINIMUM.

You can buy the donut sleeve, flange, donut for around $48 both sides from Corvette America.

29384 2.5 donut sleeve
29378 2.5 donut
29374 2.5 flange

Might be able to get from GM also since I think vettes had 2.5 exhaust through 82

Will the "corvette style" ramhorns even fit the 2WD trucks...as the exhaust dumps straight down, I would think it would become an issue clearing the engine cradle cross-member using 2.5" pipe at such a bend....If some one is using them, please reply or better yet, include pics.

Just A Update, After 17, Yes I Said 17, Phone Calls In The Last 2
Weeks To Summit, And 3 Calls Today To Headman Headquarters,
I Finally Got What I Needed From Jeg's, Summit Has Got To Have
Some Of The Biggest Idiots Working For Them, They Gave Me A
Part # And Said It Would Fit, Called Back, No It Won't Fit, Did
This Several Times With 5 Different Part #'s, Anyways Here Is
What I Got, This Is The 2wd Version, The 4wd Version Pic's Are
Not Updated, But This Give You An Idea Of What The Look Like,
Best Part About Them, Ball Collector Flanges, Alot Less Leaks,
And They Are Ceramic Coated, Should Outlast Me For Sure

Nice System - How much ?

A BIG thanks for sorting through all the bull for the rest of us. What's the kit # and How much for the whole system? I'm looking to do a dual hidden system on the '70 in stainless. Any body got the goods on it ? I'm planning to dump down without going over the rear axle and here in Canada the law states that we have to keep the same pollution controls that it came with originally or face a $380 fine . That's why older is better!!!!!

The counter help at Summit's retail store in Reno is real bad as well. I don't think they hire from a matrix that is geared towards people with automotive knowledge. They are looking for people that will work for a minimum amount of money. I buy everything I can from Jegs now. I'll only go to Summits Reno store if I need it right now. A few guy's I work with do the same thing.

NOT DONE, I ONLY DID ONE SIDE SO FAR, BUT HERE ARE THE PROGRESS
PIC'S, THE DIFFERANCE IS AMAZING, I GIVE THESE BAD BOYS 2 THUMBS
UP, THEY ARE SHORTER IN LENGTH AND IT APPEARS MY EXHAUST WILL
BE MORE HIDDEN, I HIGHLY RECCOMEND THEM, HERE IS THE SPEC'S. (IT
MAY VARY FROM VEHICLE 2 VEHICLE DUE TO SUSPENSION LIFT KITS)

*ALSO THE BOLT HOLES WERE EASIER AND MORE ACCESSABLE THAN
THE ONES ON THE OLD STYLE HEADERS, SCREWED EM IN BY HAND

PIC #1 OLD HEADER IN PLACE ON BLAZER
PIC #2 OLD HEADER ON GARAGE FLOOR
PIC #3 NEW HEADER ON GARAGE FLOOR
PIC #4 DIFFERANCE IN CLEARANCE INCHES
PIC #5 NEW HEADER IN PLACE ON BLAZER

*DRIVER'S PIPE IS HANGING IN PIC (JUST A FYI)
FROM GARAGE FLOOR TO BOTTOM OF COLLECTOR
OLD HEADERS WERE 19.5" / NEW HEADERS 24" AND
THEY CLEAR THE SHACKLES ALOT NICER, SHOULD
KEEP THE EXHAUST PRETTY TUCKED OUT OF SIGHT

HEADMAN ELITE CERAMIC COATED HEADERS

SUMMIT - #HED-69830
JEG'S - #500-69830

$274.XX DELIVERED TO MY DOOR FROM JEG'S

THESE ARE FOR 4WD BLAZERS ONLY, WON'T FIT 2WD
