vin issues

thats the vin for my 83 fullsize 4x4 chevy but im either just being dumb and missing what i need to read or there's an actual issue any help here on decoding it pleease? p.s. using the vin to pull up parts ha ha ha dont even ger me started on that i think i have the nightmare truck for the 4x4 forums

Here is what i found...
1 = USA G = General Motors C = Chevrolet E = 6001-7000 GVWR Brake system K = Conventional Cab 4x4 1 = 1/2 ton 4 = 2 door cab H = 305 5.0L (Fed emissions?) 4 = Check digit (not sure about this one) D = Model Year S = Assembly plant (St Louis) 125759 = serial number THIS site has a lot of good info on 73-87 4x4 trucks.

where did you find that?
and well i guess the cab is the only thing still origional.. hmmm grr oh well definatley isnt a 305 in there anymore
