If miles is around 117,000, the way these old trucks are built it is hardly broke in.

It didn't come with a turbo 400 trans, but it is a nice truck.

I wish that people would be more accurate in their discriptions too. The fuel tanks are dealer installed and not factory. Don't get me wrong, I believe it is a great truck and would love to have it. I just beleive that you should know what you are selling. WES

I thought all BB had a T-400, and all three BB below have the M 49 option.

No 4WD came with a TH400 until about 1977.

I stand corrected. The M-49 option is turbo-hydromatic one of witch is a 400. However the 350 is also a turbo-hydromatic transmission. Blazer1970 is correct though about the 4x4s not having T-400 in them until late in the 70s. WES

Yeah I caught the TH 400 part right off the bat. It's also not as highly optioned as he makes it sound. Kinda bottom of the line if you ask me but nice none the less.

I agree, it's not a high option truck, and I do I believe the truck is nice enough to sell itself. It doesn't need to be plaid up. WES

My guess it that the seller is a speculator. He was able to buy it for what he/she thought was a good-enough price to make some bucks of the poor schmoe who doesn't know as much as some on here do.

Hope he/she gets what they want. It won't be from my wallet.

Still, it's a nice-enough looking truck. I'm also gonna guess that the original owner didn't put those 4x4 stickers on it. Back then, if you had a 4wd, you knew it and you knew why you bought it. You didn't need braggin' rights with stick-on stuff. You drove it.

Real nice find, but certainly one that you'd have to look over pretty well....this guy doesn't seem too credible, doesn't mention any flaws on the truck, obviously doesn't realize what he is selling (agree that it is low option).

From the craiglist pics, you can very clearly see rust in the drivers kick panel....got to wonder how bad and where else. I'd still like to have it, though.

...and those 4x4 stickers are killing me!

400 blocks are small blocks.

These are all BB, 396's or 402's. These trucks never came with 400 SB, they were just listed as 400 's on the option sheets.
