calibrating a v8 tach to work for 6cyl
well after some research its seems the v8 and 6cyl tachs are exactly the same only came calibrated differently from factory. would like to hear from some folks that have recalibrate a v8 tach to work for 6cyl. familiar with the steps to do it, but would like to hear some of the results from the people who have tried this. thanks in advance

I have heard it can be done, but have no proof it works well. My opinion is there is something different and that is why they are stamped 6 or 8 cyl. Anyone know if they share the same part number?
