Ok, Yet another backspacing question...
I used the search for 20 minutes and could not find exactly what I'm looking for...
So... I'm looking at some USED wheels "Hopsters" this weekend I don't know the backspacing yet... But,... They are 15 x 8 w/ 5 x 5 bolt pattern... perfect so far... What backspacing is ideal for our trucks, I have 73-79 stock disc brakes with 1 coil cut out of coils, '71 rear end, Am going to get about a 2" or 3" lowering spring for rear... For backspacing on a 15 x 8 rim... Whats ideal? Whats do-able? What are you guys running for 15" rims with slightly lowered trucks?

Re: Ok, Yet another backspacing question...
For 15x8's up front, 4" BS will work fine & 4.5~4.75 pulls the tire in for the 'low' rides.
For 15x8's out back, 4" BS is ideal regardless of ride height.
