Bed side help
Is there a faq on how to remove the bedsides of a 1/2T fleetside (lwb)? Someone told me that they are bolted on and come right off....

Steve:
You can check the online instructions we have for the steel-to-wood bed floor conversion. http://www.mar-k.com/67-72conv.pdf The first 2 or 3 pages are disassembly procedures. Mar-Ktech

Re: Bed side help
It's Actually Easy, Just Unbolt It From The Headboard And Then Follow Down The Length Of The Bedfloor. I Like To Unbolt The Wheel Well From The Floor Rather Than From The Bedside. There Are Two Welds At The Back Of The Bed Where The Bed Connects To The Rear Crossmember Of The Bed Floor.

Re: Bed side help
REplacing a bedside is easy but you can't just bolt up the replacement. You have to line it up and check it's position before bolting it down. You need to have the correct position, left to right, tilt left to right etc.. You actually need to measure it from opposite front corners to get it square or you will go crazy with the tailgate positioning. So, attach the bolts but align before you tighten them~!!!
