Anyone in san diego that can mount/balance tires for cheap?

I've been quoted some outrageous prices to mount and balance some 35x12.50 Thornbirds for my 67'. Is there anyone on here with access to a tire changed willing to help a brother out lol. I'm talking like $150 just to mount and balance!!!!

Wow, I hope that $150 is for all 4? Even still, that's quite a chunk!

Ya, I decided to keep the 33's I just got off craigslist and sell off the 35's. I made a $300 profit that way lol.

lol, ya but money in usually turns back to money out for more car parts haha. $150 of the 300 profit will go to my new tcase, the rest will go in the bank for my wife haha

I'd call around. I got some tires remounted/balanced at Discount Tire for $60.
Maybe try one of those little Mexican tire places.

Re: Anyone in san diego that can mount/balance tires for cheap?

Ya I already sold off the 35's. I figure I'll keep these 33's until I can buy the tires that I REALLY want. I like the Thornbirds but they were used. I used to live in Central florida, but we are moving to Minnesota next summer lol. Rea; Estate is so cheap out there, I am paying $1625 for a 2 bedroom 2 bath apartment with a fireplace here in san diego. I found a 12 acre piece of land with a new 5 bedroom 3 bath house with 3 car garage and detached 4+ car workshop for 230K in Minnesota where my mother-in-law lives!!! That would be less than I pay for this apartment a month. I can't wait to move!!
